Double Sided Conductive Tape Description

Double Sided Conductive Tape is a high-performance adhesive tape designed to provide electrical conductivity and secure bonding on both sides. It features a conductive backing that allows for efficient electrical current transfer between surfaces, making it ideal for electronic applications requiring grounding, shielding, or connection of electrical components. This tape is typically used in environments where electrical conductivity and adhesion are both crucial, such as in electronics assembly, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, static discharge protection, and circuit repairs.

Double Sided Conductive Tape Application

  • EMI Shielding:

    • Shielding electronic components or circuit boards to prevent electromagnetic interference from affecting the performance of sensitive devices.

    • Used in mobile phones, laptops, television sets, and other electronic devices to reduce signal noise and prevent data disruption.

  • Static Discharge Protection:

    • Used in electrostatic discharge (ESD) sensitive environments, where it provides grounding for electronic components, helping to protect devices from the harmful effects of static electricity.

    • Commonly used in cleanrooms, electronics manufacturing, and repair work to prevent static buildup that can damage components.

  • Grounding Electrical Components:

    • Often used to provide grounding between circuit boards, heat sinks, and other conductive surfaces. This helps prevent short circuits or ensure proper current flow across the system.

    • Used in power supplies, chargers, and automotive electronics to maintain safe and efficient current flow.

  • Electrical Connections:

    • Helps create electrical connections between circuit elements in high-frequency applications like radio frequency (RF) circuits, microwave systems, and signal processing.

    • Ideal for applications where flexibility and compactness are required, allowing it to form reliable electrical connections in small spaces.

Storage:

  1. Store under normal conditions of 10-30℃ and 40-70% R.H, out of direct sunlight.
  2. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in initial packing.

Precaution Reminder:

  1. Surface should be clean, dry, free of dust, oil or other contaminants.
  2. Proper pressure required by roller, hand or press when applying.
  3. Avoid repeat sticking to prevent adhesion decrease.
