Grey Anti-static Tape Description

Grey Anti-static Tape is a specialized adhesive tape designed to prevent the build-up of static electricity, making it ideal for use in environments where static discharge could damage sensitive electronic components or equipment. The tape is typically made from a conductive material, ensuring that any static charges are safely dissipated

Grey Anti-static Tape Application

  1. Static Dissipation: Effectively prevents the accumulation of static electricity, reducing the risk of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) that could harm sensitive parts like ICs, PCBs, or semiconductor devices.
  2. Durable and Adhesive: The tape features a strong adhesive that adheres securely to a variety of surfaces without leaving sticky residues upon removal, making it suitable for temporary or long-term applications.
  3. Visually Identifiable: The grey color of the tape is often used to distinguish it from other types of tapes, and it also provides a professional and neutral appearance in high-tech environments.
  4. Non-abrasive: The surface is designed to be gentle on equipment, preventing damage to the surfaces it is applied to while still providing a strong hold.
  5. Versatile Applications: Ideal for use in electronics manufacturing, computer assembly, or any workspace where static protection is critical, such as in clean rooms, server rooms, and repair shops.
  6. Compliance with ESD Standards: The tape often complies with industry standards for Electrostatic Discharge safety, such as ANSI/ESD S20.20, ensuring it meets specific ESD control requirements.
  7. Size Options: Available in various widths and lengths to accommodate different needs, from small-scale electronics work to larger industrial applications.

Storage:

  1. Store under normal conditions of 10-30℃ and 40-70% R.H, out of direct sunlight.
  2. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in initial packing.

Precaution Reminder:

  1. Surface should be clean, dry, free of dust, oil or other contaminants.
  2. Proper pressure required by roller, hand or press when applying.
  3. Avoid repeat sticking to prevent adhesion decrease.
